Elections of the President of Bashkortostan are announced on Wednesday, June 18, at a session of the State Assembly — Kurultay RB. Deputies supported the resolution to hold pre-term elections of the President of the Republic of Bashkortostan on September 14, 2014. Thus, the campaign of pre-term presidential elections is officially started in the region. Since the publication of the resolution the nomination of candidates’ process will be launched. Recall that Rustem Khamitov officially announced of his intention to run for the presidency. On June 10, United Russia held primaries of candidates to the post of the head of the republic. As a result, three party candidates were defined: Acting President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, the State Duma deputy Rafael Mardanshin, the President of Chamber of Lawyers RB Bulat Yumadilov. The voting was as follows: Rustem Khamitov received 129 votes, Rafael Mardanshin — 41, Bulat Yumadilov — 39. A final candidate from United Russia will be approved at the conference of the regional branch on June 21.
According to the results of primaries three candidates were defined from the United Russia for the subsequent nomination to the post of the head of the republic: the Acting President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, Russian State Duma deputy Rafael Mardanshin and the President of the Chamber of Lawyers RB Bulat Yumadilov. The voting was as follows: Rustem Khamitov received 129 votes, Rafael Mardanshin — 41, Bulat Yumadilov — 39. Total six applications were submitted for participation in the primaries: from the deputy of the State Assembly RB Nikolay Samoilenko, the President of the Chamber of Lawyers RB Bulat Yumadilov, the representative of Bashkortostan in St. Petersburg Rif Sahabutdinov, the Russian State Duma deputy Rafael Mardanshin, the deputy of State Assembly RB Nail Gizatullin and Acting President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov.
The "none of the above" option will appear in the ballots at the elections of local government deputies this autumn. The relevant law was signed by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. The document was adopted by the State Duma and approved by the Federation Council on May 28.
The Russian Government received a proposal to establish a Father's Day. Such initiative was considered by the State Duma as part of the Federal Project of the "Strong family" Party. The federal coordinator of the project is the Chairman of the State Duma Sergey Naryshkin.
On May 4th, the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov during his working trip visited the Karmaskalinsky region of the republic, where he examined work of several farms and inspected the progress of sowing, the press service of the head of the republic informs. In Lyakhovo village Bashkortostan President inspected the new livestock complex of the group of companies "Artemida", built as part of the "500 farms" program last winter. Today the dairy farm reached a production capacity of 15 tons of milk per day. Here 1000 heads of dairy cattle are kept. Within two years it is planned to bring these figures to 1200 heads of cattle and 20 tons of milk respectively. At one of the fields of "Artemida" (total area of arable land — 16.5 hectares) Khamitov inspected the machinery used for planting and tillage. Due to weather conditions, the sowing schedule delay is about one week here. On the contrary, sowing works on the fields of "Nadezhda" agricultural enterprise, further examined by Khamitov, are going ahead of schedule. At the same time the head of the republic visited social objects in Kostiantynovka village, where the enterprise is located.
Yesterday Bashkortostan delegation headed by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB Rauf Nugumanov arrived in Simferopol. On the same day, the delegation met with the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Crimea Rustam Temirgaliev, the press service of the Crimea Government informs. The meeting was held in the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea. Rustam Temirgaliev highlighted the development of relations between two republics. During the two-day visit, the delegation of Bashkortostan plans to visit several Crimean enterprises. The purpose of the visit is to immediately agree on specific areas of cooperation so that during the return visit of the Crimean delegation to Bashkortostan to start work in the field of economic cooperation between two regions. The Crimean authorities expressed their desire to develop integration processes in the sphere of oil production, refining, petrochemicals, tourism and resort industry, the press service of the Government RB reports.
Major landmarks in the work of Bashkortostan Government are to increase incomes, to ensure the necessary level of health care, education, culture, housing affordability, urban and rural development, environmental preservation and demographic indicators. This was stated by the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov while presenting report on the activities of the republican Government in 2013 to the State Assembly — Kurultay RB on Tuesday. “Bashkortostan today is one of the few regions in the country, where the birth rate exceeds the death rate. Total number of such subjects in the country is 22. Last year, 59400 children were born in the republic. Natural increase was about six thousand people” said Khamitov addressing to the deputies. The President noted that governmental measures taken on the preschool education development had a positive impact on the birth rate increasing. The head of the republic told about the results of the corresponding regional program completed last year. According to it, since 2008, it was planned to commission about 26,000 places in kindergartens. Actually it was put into operation 45,000 places, of which 40,000 — for the last three years. Just last year, in Bashkortostan 15,000 places were created, including approximately seven thousand — through the introduction of alternative forms of preschool education. As a result, over the past three years a waiting list to kindergartens decreased by almost two and a half times.
On behalf of President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov this week in Ufa a formation of caravan loaded with humanitarian aid to residents of new regions of Russia in the Crimean peninsula will be completed, the press service of the head of the region informs. The humanitarian aid includes in particular, cereals, pasta, vegetable oil, sugar, condensed milk, canned meat, flour, medicines and medical products. Food and medical supplies are purchased by the reserve fund of the Government of Bashkortostan. It is assumed that the caravan will include three heavy-duty trucks and escort vehicles. Sergey Novikov, the chairman of Goskomzakaz RB, native of Sevastopol, is appointed by Rustem Khamitov as responsible for the development and delivery of humanitarian aid.
The draft law on licensing of management companies is under consideration in the State Duma of the Russian Federation. The Chairman of the State Committee on Housing Supervision RB Ildar Zamaletdinov took part in the document discussion.
The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov gave an interview to the "Expert-Ural" magazine where he told about republican growth points in 2014. The head of the region mentioned in particular that the task to increase the gross regional product to 1.5 trillion rubles by 2016 was quite real, and it would be achieved primarily through internal reserves, due to modernization of existing industrial complex.
