Bashkortostan is in the top ten of regions with the most effective government authorities

On the results of 2013 Bashkortostan is among the subjects of Russia with the best indexes of the authorities’ effectiveness estimation. The republic occupies the tenth place in the rating. Preliminary results of the executive bodies’ effectiveness are announced by the Russian Ministry of Regional Development considering the trend data over a three year period. The annual report is submitted to the President of the Russian Federation, the head of the Ministry Igor Slyunyaev said at a press briefing.

Bashkortostan President signed a decree on holding Sabantuy national festival in 2014

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov signed a decree on holding the Sabantuy national festival in the republic in 2014, the press service of the head of the region informs. According to the document, the Deputy Prime Ministers of the Government RB Ernst Isaev, Liliya Gumerova together with the administrations of regions and towns are in charge of organization issues of the festival. The Ministry of Health of Bashkortostan should organize medical personnel on duty in places of celebrations. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Main Directorate of EMERCOM on RB are recommended to ensure public order maintenance, road safety and implementation of fire safety measures at the festivities.

Scientific expedition visited Bashkir "Shulgan-Tash" Reserve

The summer research season began in the Shulgan-Tash Reserve with a visit of guests from St. Petersburg and Ufa. A scientific expedition headed by Yuriy Lyakhnitsky, Candidate of Science in Geology, the leading researcher of A.P. Karpinsky Russian Geological Research Institute (St. Petersburg) has been working for almost two weeks in Kapova Cave, fixing drawings of the Cave and monitoring their condition.

Warm week with rains is expected in Bashkiria

German experts were interested in work of Bashkir Rehabilitation Centre for Disabled

Specialists of WEK labour workshops from the German city of Esslingen visited the vocational guidance department of the Republican Rehabilitation Centre for Children and Adolescents with Disabilities. This was the last point in the program of the German colleagues’ visit in Bashkortostan. Within two weeks German recreation therapists acquainted with activities of a number of educational, medical and social facilities of Bashkortostan — Republican Psychiatric Hospital, special secondary schools of Ufa, Birsk, Salavat , Neftekamsk, Yanaul, a branch of Kumertau Rehabilitation Centre. The working trip was organized as part of the UNESCO international campaign "Inclusive Education".
